The Acropolis was once a showcase of colossal buildings , now in ruins, the cool gradeur of the bare marble is still breathtaking. Crowning in the Acropolis unsurpassed in grace and harmony, the Parthenon is the largest Doric temple ever completed in Greece , the only one built completely (apart from the wooden roof) of Pentelic marble.
